ArmInfo.Iran and Azerbaijan must block path for misconceptions. Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated this in a telephone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, IRNA reports.
Amir-Abdollahian and Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the latest developments in bilateral relations. The Iranian Foreign Minister noted that it is advisable for both countries to continue their relations in the right direction.
Stressing the need for mutual respect and independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries, the Iranian Foreign Minister added that Tehran and Baku have long-standing relations.
"Both countries should not allow misunderstandings in relations, and they should continue their relationship in the right and rapidly developing direction," he said.
