ArmInfo.Reliable facts and concrete evidence of torture and inhuman treatment of Armenian captives by the Azerbaijani side are presented in a special report of the RA Human Rights Defender in English. As the Ombudsman of Armenia Arman Tatoyan said on his Facebook page, the document states about the responsibility of Azerbaijan for war crimes.
"The main provisions of the report published today by me, human rights activist Siranush Sahakyan, demonstrate the facts of cruelty, torture and humiliation of Armenian prisoners of war, civilians and mechanisms of responsibility for these actions.
The special report also presents the massive violations that took place in Kovsakan on October 20, 2020 (tying the Armenian military to a car and dragging, cutting off the ears of killed people, etc.).
The report contains conclusions, including those related to the Border Service of Azerbaijan, confirming photos, videos and analyzes.
The document will be sent to international organizations, as well as to the state bodies of the Republic of Armenia and non-governmental organizations, "Tatoyan noted.
