As reported by the RA President's press service, the message reads: "We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks at the Kabul international airport, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of innocent civilians and military personnel.
Armenia has always opposed any manifestation of terrorism directed against humanity, especially against the participation of terrorists in hostilities.
In the fight against international terrorism, it is necessary to unite efforts to prevent such monstrous manifestations of intolerance and contempt for universal values>.
Sarkissian conveyed his condolences to the families and friends of those who have died, wishing them endurance and courage, and a speedy recovery to those injured as a result of that attack.
According to the latest data, 103 people became victims of a series of terrorist attacks in Kabul, 13 of them are American servicemen. According to the Afghan Ministry of Health, the total number of victims of the explosions is 1,338. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that radical movement fighters also suffered. The IS terrorist organization has confirmed responsibility for two of the three explosions and shooting near the Kabul airport.
