ArmInfo. Parents and relatives of the missing servicemen are once again holding a protest action in front of the building of the National Security Service of Armenia. They demand that either the remains of their children be returned to them, or, if they are alive, to organize search operations.
One of the protesters in an interview with reporters noted that parents are also collecting facts about where their sons may be. "Fathers go into the trenches, carry out search work together with the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the International Committee of the Red Cross. Of the 21 missing servicemen, only 9 bodies were found, of which only 8 were identified. They still cannot decide on the body of another one>, he said. According to him, 21 missing soldiers were from the Tsor military unit. They were sent to Hadrut on October 12, when it in fact fell.
Parents accuse commanders of negligence in their official duties. They express dissatisfaction with the fact that the Armenian Defense Ministry still does not have a proper list of either prisoners of war or missing. One of the culprits of the tragedy with their children, according to the assurances of the parents, is the former head of the NKR Defense Army artillery Gennady Baghdasaryan, who received a new position in the Armenian Defense Ministry. According to them, he made the wrong decision by sending soldiers to death.
They also added that they came to the National Security Service of Armenia, because in other structures (the Ministry of Defense, the Prosecutor General's Office, etc.) they do nothing and constantly shift responsibility from one structure to another.
Another parent noted that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a conversation with them assured that he personally deals with the issue of prisoners of war and missing persons, but in fact no one is dealing with this issue.
