
ArmInfo. By the decision of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Karen Brutyan was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the official website of the Cabinet, the corresponding document Pashinyan signed on August 13.
By another decision of the head of government, Brutyan was relieved of his post as First Deputy Minister of Finance.
It should be reminded that by the decision of the head of government on May 24, 2018, economist Karen Brutyan, who previously held the post of the first deputy chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia, was appointed first deputy minister of finance.
Karen Brutyan began his career in 1998-1999 - in the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Armenia, in the Department of Financial Programming and Cash Management, as a leading specialist. 1999-2000 - RA Ministry of Finance, Department for Analysis of Reports and Methodology of the Treasury System, Chief Specialist. 2000-2002 - RA Ministry of Finance and Economy, Department of Budget Execution Methodology, Head of Department. 2002-2008 - RA Ministry of Finance and Economy, Department of Procurement Process Regulation and Budget Process Methodology, Head of Department. 2008-2011 - RA Ministry of Finance, Department of State Internal Financial Control and Public Procurement Methodology, Head of Department. 2014-03.2016 - General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia, Advisor to the General Prosecutor. Since 2016 - State Revenue Committee under the Government of the Republic of Armenia, advisor to the chairman. Since 2016 - State Revenue Committee under the RA Government, First Deputy Chairman.
