ArmInfo. Azerbaijan is again dissatisfied with the actions of the ambassadors of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries. This time, the reason for the discontent was the refusal of the diplomats of the above countries to visit the Armenian city of Shushi occupied by Azerbaijan.
Days earlier, ambassadors of 46 states, including those from countries friendly to Armenia, visited Shushi.
Thus, the occupied Shushi was visited by the ambassadors of Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Brazil, China, Afghanistan, Algeria, Palestine, Georgia, Croatia, Jordan, Israel, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Colombia, Korea, Qatar, Latvia, Hungary, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Japan, Greece, charge d'affaires of Belgium, UAE, Chile, Estonia, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Libya, Romania, Slovakia, Sudan and Venezuela. The trip was also attended by representatives of the World Health Organization and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
Former Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Tofig Zulfugarov, expressing his attitude to the fact that the ambassadors of the United States, Russia and France did not accept the invitation of the Azerbaijani government and refused to visit Shushi, said that the Minsk Group had finally died.
"The Minsk group has completely died ... The ambassadors of 3 states should be subjected to official and public isolation (not to accept them and not to accept their invitations to any events) until they leave for Shushi. Anyone who violates this rule should be subjected to criticism in the media, "the former Azerbaijani Foreign Minister wrote on his Facebook page.
It is noteworthy that the ambassadors of the same countries for 30 years refused to visit Nagorno-Karabakh to get acquainted with the living conditions of the people. Moreover, any construction or reconstruction work in the vicinity of Artsakh has provoked a strong negative reaction from the international community, leading to the destruction of these territories and today Azerbaijan is conducting a violent campaign, declaring "how bad the Armenians are" and that "everything is ruined" in those territories.
In conditions when the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has not yet been resolved, such trips by foreign diplomats to the occupied territories of Nagorno-Karabakh once again demonstrate at least the bias of the international community.
