Coronavirus spread growth rate accelerates in Armenia

ArmInfo. Since the end of the previous week, an acceleration in the growth rate of the spread of coronavirus has been observed in Armenia. In particular, today,  according to the Ministry of Health, the number of new infected  people amounted to 186 people, or 3.6% of the number of citizens who  passed the test, against 2.3% as of July 7, 1.5% as of July 6.

At the same time, it is reported that 78 people recovered in the last  24 hours, died- 5. 

Thus, as of 11:00 on July 8, 2,966 patients receive actual treatment  in Armenia.

In total, 225 987 cases of coronavirus infection (18.5%) were  registered in the country, 217 381 people (96.2%) recovered, and 4536  (2%) died. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 1,220,466 coronavirus  tests have been carried out in the RA.
