ArmInfo.Russian President Vladimir Putin and Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will discuss the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced to reporters by press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, the signing of any documents is not planned. He refuted information by Armenian media that Putin and Pashinyan would discuss the deployment of Russian peacekeepers on the Armenian border.
"This refuted information is not true," the president's press secretary told reporters, FAN reports. "Of course, Karabakh will be discussed, and the Russian military, who are now deployed there, will be discussed, and bilateral relations in general. But the signing of any documents is not planned," he stressed.
Ton note, this is the first foreign visit of RA acting Prime Minister to Moscow after the victory of his "Civil Contract" party in early parliamentary elections.
As previously reported by the press service of Pashiyan, during the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, it is planned to discuss the issues of the Armenian-Russian strategic agenda. The parties will also touch upon issues related to the implementation of the trilateral statements of November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021, the provision of humanitarian assistance to the population of Nagorno-Karabakh affected by the hostilities, as well as the restoration of economic and transport communications in the region.
