ArmInfo. The CEC of Armenia presented the final data of the turnout at the early elections to the Armenian parliament that took place today. Thus, according to the CEC of the Republic of Armenia, according as of 8:00pm, the turnout for early parliamentary elections in the whole of the Republic of Armenia amounted to 49.4% or 1 million 281 thousand citizens.
According to the head of the RA CEC Tigran Mukuchyan, out of 850 thousand citizens who have the right to vote in Yerevan, 442,846 or 51.55% exercised their right to vote. The highest turnout was registered in Syunik region - 60.38%. Of the 109,726 citizens eligible to vote, 66,252 people have fulfilled their civic duty. In Aragatsotn region, out of 117,472 citizens voted 58,737 or 50 %, in Ararat region they exercised their right to vote out of 223360 citizens 113 625 or 50, 571%, in Armavir region out of 235 840 -104 880 people or 44.47%. In Gegharkunik, out of 189,527 citizens, 86,173 or 45.47% took part in the voting, in Lori region - out of 233,552 - 109,141 or 46.73% voted, in Kotayk out of 242,022 - 121,212 or 50.08%, in Shirak from 226 763 - 93 510 or 41.24%, in Vayots Dzor from 46 620 - 26 132 people or 56.5% voted and in Tavush out of 109 690 - 58 666 or 53, 48%.
Note that the data on the number of voters according to the version of the Police and according to the version of the CEC differ. According to the Police, the number of voters is 2,578,678 people, and according to the CEC - 2,593,572. The question why the Police did not take into account 14894 citizens remains open.
