ArmInfo. As of 5:00 pm, the highest turnout in early parliamentary elections in Armenia was registered in Syunik. Secretary of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Armen Smbatyan announced this. In particular, he noted that 51,303 citizens or 46.83% of the total number of voters took part in the voting in Syunik region.
At the same time, the turnout in Yerevan was 40.15% or 344 868 citizens. In the remaining regions of Armenia, the situation was as follows - in the Aragatsotn region, out of the total number of voters, 44.511 citizens or 37 59% took part in the elections, in the Ararat region - 83 766 or 37.5%, in Armavir - 75.035 citizens or 31.82 %. According to Smbatyan, 70 .836 citizens or 37.38% of the total number of citizens who have the right to participate in elections took part in voting in Gegharkunik, 87. 310 citizens or 37.38% in Lori, 93 .128 citizens or 38.77% in Kotayk, in Shirak - 73,171 or 32.27%, in Vayots Dzor - 19,858 or 42.66% and in Tavush - 45,376 citizens or 41.37%.
In total, out of 2,593,572 voters, 989,972 citizens or 38.17% took part in the voting in the Republic.
