ArmInfo.German Chancellor Angela Merkel, accompanied by Marie Lou Papazian, Director of the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, will visit the TUMO virtual center in Berlin.
According to the message received by ArmInfo, the visit will take place on June 17 at 12:00pm Yerevan time. Through the direct link, the German Chancellor will get acquainted with the Tumo Berlin educational zone, its progress and plans for the future. The excursion will be followed by a discussion on the future of education with the participation of the German Minister of Education and Tumo's partner, the CEO of KfW Bank.
The event is being held as part of the Chancellor's Digital Education Initiative program aimed at promoting digital education.
Recall that Tumo Berlin, which began functioning in the fall of 2020 in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, is located in the historic district of Berlin - Charlottenburg. The center covers an area of 2000 square meters and can accommodate over 1000 young people. In the near future, the center plans to completely switch to stationary education.
