ArmInfo.Acting Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan told reporters on June 1 that the dialogue on the platform of the trilateral working group of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan had been interrupted.
According to him, at present the work of the working group has been suspended, in particular, against the background of the aggravation of the situation on the border with Azerbaijan. "I have repeatedly said that the work will be effective if its background and situation are at least stable. In light of the current situation at the border, I do not think that constructive work on this platform is possible and recently contacts on it have ceased," he said.
Grigoryan once again assured that the Armenian side, when discussing issues of unblocking communications in the region, did not discuss the issue of "corridor logic". "If by" corridor "some people mean transport routes, this is one question, but if by corridor they mean anything related to sovereignty, I assure you that this is out of the question in my discussions," said the head of the trilateral group from the Armenian side.
Referring to the issue of 6 recently captured Armenian servicemen, the acting Deputy Prime Minister assured that the issue is being discussed at various venues. Grigoryan expressed hope that the issue will be resolved in the near future.
