ArmInfo. India is watching the situation along the Armenian- Azerbaijani border with concern.
According to the Indian Foreign Ministry, this was stated by the Spokesperson of the Indian Foreign Minister Arindam Bagchi in response to a request from the media to comment on the situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
"We are following the situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border with concern. An invasion of the border as a result of the movement of the military could destabilize the situation and lead to a resumption of hostilities. We call on the offending side to immediately withdraw its troops and stop any further provocations. India has always advocated a peaceful solution of bilateral disputes by political and diplomatic means. Peace and stability in the South Caucasus region are important from the point of view of regional security, "the Indian Foreign Ministry's statement reads.
