ArmInfo. The World Bank expressed its readiness to co-finance 4 out of 25 programs to support the residents of Artsakh temporarily residing in the Republic of Armenia.
This was stated by acting Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan on May 6 at a government meeting, during which a proposal was approved to sign a corresponding agreement with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the main lending institution of the World Bank, Ed. note). According to Grigoryan, the WB will allocate an amount of $ 3 million 718 thous for gratuitous co- financing of these programs.
The purpose of the grant agreement is through 4 programs to ensure payments to residents of Karabakh (excluding able-bodied men) in the amount of 68 thousand drams per month, to compensate for the rent of housing, if the owners of houses receive refugees in the amount of 30 thousand drams a month in the Republic of Armenia, and 45 thousand - in Artsakh, to support programs for temporary employment of Artsakh people.
