ArmInfo. Armenia does not plan to impose a lockdown due to COVID- 19, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan saidat a government meeting on May 6.
So, according to Pashinyan, back in July 2020, Armenia thought about imposing a lockdown for the second time due to the situation with the coronavirus. "I am glad that we made a very difficult decision never to impose a lockdown again. Time has shown that it was a very justified decision," he concluded.
It should be noted that a state of emergency was in effect in Armenia from March 16 to September 11. Now quarantine has been impose in the country, which will last until July 11, 2021. The "mask regime" is preserved in the republic.
