ArmInfo. On May 5, during a meeting at the Ministry of Health, acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, referring to the program of free medical care for children under 18, said that the vast majority of 18-year-old young people have health problems.
"We did not talk about this then, and now we need to speak with caution. Back in 2018, we recorded that the overwhelming majority of 18-year-old young people undergoing compulsory medical examination have health problems. This is one of the biggest failures of our state," he sstated.
As Pashinyan noted, the solution to this problem applies not only to the healthcare sector, but also to the education sector, since the provision of medical care within the framework of the state order is only a fight against the consequences, not the cause. In this context, he noted the importance of the proper conduct of physical education lessons in schools.
