ArmInfo. On April 24, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Artsakh: Heritage under Threat"at the Yerevan City Hall.
According to the press service of the Prime Minister, the event was also attended by the Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan, the President of the French Senate Gerard Larcher, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Ayvazyan, the Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan, as well as representatives of international delegations that visited Yerevan on the occasion of the 106th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and ambassadors of various states accredited in Armenia.
The exhibition "Artsakh: Heritage under Threat" presents more than 120 photos representing the historical and cultural heritage of Artsakh, the first books published in Shushi, manuscripts and carpets created in Artsakh.
The exhibition also features photographs from the archive of the Holy Mother See of Etchmiadzin, the Foundation for the Study of Armenian Architecture, the archive of the Samvel Karapetyan monument and the Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran.
The exhibition is accompanied by short videos about several disappearing valuables: Dadivanka, Tsitsernavanka, Gazanchetsots Church, Tigranakert, Kataro Monastery, Gandzasar and Mayraberde. The exhibition "Artsakh: Heritage under Threat" was organized within the framework of the Committee for Cultural Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. It will be open until May 2.
