ArmInfo. The confirmed number of dead Armenian servicemen in the Artsakh war is 3,621 people to date. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on April 14 during the parliamentary hour.
According to Pashinyan, the number of missing people is 321. In addition, the remains of 201 people are at the stage of DNA analysis, there are more than 100 remains identified with specific relatives, but relatives for various reasons so far refuse to accept these facts. "Many of our compatriots believe that their relatives are alive, are in captivity, there are families who do not trust DNA tests. They will conduct an analysis abroad on their own initiative, but the state, for its part, expresses its readiness to provide assistance," he said.
Pashinyan suggested that these indicators will not undergo significant changes. "Thus, the total number of killed will be within 4,000 people, plus or minus 50 people, forgive me for these words," the prime minister said. After that, he asked the lawmakers to honor the memory of the dead soldiers with a minute of silence.
