Forecast: Armenia should  be ready for exacerbation in Georgia and  Ukraine

ArmInfo.Armenia must be prepared for exacerbation in Georgia, Ukraine, other territories, the situation in which may have an impact on the South Caucasus region.   Such an opinion was expressed to  Arminfo by the Head of the  "International Center for Human Development" Tevan Pogosyan.

"The geopolitical situation is developing rapidly, periodically  emerging new challenges and threats. And I do not think that the  current authorities are able to confront all these challenges. The  state of our armed forces, at least causes questions. For several  months, the status of the defense army has been in incomprehensible  state. It is not known whether the work is carried out in the  direction of the restoration of arms of the army, "he noted.

Against this background, according to the estimates of Pogosyan, it  seems that the Armenian authorities generally prefer to forget about  Artsakh as an unnecessary load, the burden, identifying new borders  with Azerbaijan through GPS. And on this background, society hears  daily about the inability of Armenia to ensure their own security on  their own.

According to the expert, the impression is already being created that  the leadership of Armenia has spoiled relationships with allian  countries and partner countries. Similarly. And the very fact of the  presence of sovereignty, the fact of making independent decisions  does not mean that the state should not take into account the  interests of allies and partners. And the observance of their own  interests does not mean that the country should not make concessions  for the sake of friendly relations.

"All this does not mean that we do not accept these decisions  yourself. And it is precisely the sovereignty. However, when the  country's leadership begins to divide the world on black and white,  such a look, as a rule, is completed by the destruction of allied and  even partnerships. And to Unfortunately, it turns out that even the  actions of our authorities in the name of Armenia are crowned with  negative for Armenia, "- summed up Poghosyan.
