Expert: Anti-Turkish Sentiments in Washington Are the Key to  Successful Promotion of the Armenian Agenda

ArmInfo.Taking into account the anti-Turkish sentiments prevailing in Washington, today the chances of Armenia and the Armenian lobby in the direction of  achieving the successful implementation of the Armenian agenda seem  to be the maximum. International expert Suren Sargsyan expressed such  opinion to ArmInfo.

In this light, Sargsyan considers the correct positioning in the new  atmosphere as possible in order to establish effective work with all  the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs a step necessary for the Armenian  organizations already now. And the candidacy of  the new Armenian ambassador to the United States (head of the  parliamentary faction "My Step" Lilit Makunts - Ed.), In his opinion,  is the best evidence of the absence of serious steps of Yerevan in  the direction of Washington. Meanwhile, all this is taking place  against the background of a serious deterioration in American-Turkish  relations due to the existence of disagreements on a number of  vectors and issues.

Regarding the same prospect of the United States recognizing the fact  of the Armenian Genocide, especially against the background of  repeated statements by President Joe Biden, I can only state that  there has never been such a favorable environment for this as now.   there was a political opportunity, but now this opportunity is  definitely there, "the expert summed up.
