ArmInfo.An official investigation will be carried out in Armenia in connection with the  problem of delivery of samples to the International Defense  Conference & Exhibition in the capital of the United Arab Emirates -  Abu Dhabi. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a  government meeting on February 25.

As the head of the government noted, the order to conduct an official  investigation has already been given to them. And if it turns out  that there are officials' faults, they will be held accountable.   Earlier, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry (HTI) of Armenia made an  explanation because of the scandal that broke out around the  participation of the Armenian side in the International Defense  Conference & Exhibition in the capital of the United Arab Emirates -  Abu Dhabi from 21 to 25 February. The scandal erupted due to the fact  that the pavilion of Armenia at the exhibition turned out to be empty  and instead of samples of weapons of the Armenian military-industrial  complex, only booklets were presented in the pavilions. As it turned  out, due to the careless organization of the delivery of Armenian  defense products to the exhibition, the cargo for unknown reasons was  stuck in Moscow and was not delivered to Abu Dhabi on time. The  ministry said in a statement that the absence of exhibits in the  pavilion of Armenian companies was due to logistical problems. To  clarify the circumstances of the incident, by order of the minister,  an official investigation is carried out.

Note that the International Defense Conference & Exhibition, or IDEX  2021 for short, was held from February 21 to 25 in the capital of the  UAE - Abu Dhabi. The exhibition is dedicated to technologies for  ensuring public and state security.
