ArmInfo. The ratification process of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) has been completed and the document will enter into full force on March 1, 2021. This is stated in the statement of the EU delegation to Armenia. The EU recalled that the CEPA was signed by Armenia and the European Union in November 2017. The agreement provides a long-term basis for deepening relations between the EU and Armenia, strengthens the rule of law and the justice system, supports public administration reform and supports cooperation in various areas such as energy, transport and the environment. It also leads to an improved business environment and new opportunities in areas such as trade and investment.
"The European Union is the largest donor of financial aid in Armenia, the main goal of which is to improve the living conditions of all Armenians, especially in the regions. Full ratification of the document creates the basis for even closer cooperation in support of the sustainability and economic development of Armenia at times when it is very necessary." , - said the ambassador of the European Union to Armenia Andrea Viktorin.
"In this regard, throughout this week the EU delegation to Armenia will share important achievements in relations between the European Union and Armenia within the framework of CEPA, "the EU said.
