Apricots bloomed in Syunik, while  the Ministry of Emergency  Situations reports a decrease in temperature by 10-13 degrees

ArmInfo. The Deputy Head  of the Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring on his Facebook  page Gagik Surenyan shared a photo showing blossoming apricots in the  Nrnadzor community of Syunik region.

"For over 20 years I have been working in this field, and I don't  remember a case when an apricot tree bloomed in any part of our  republic in mid-February," he wrote.

However, the weather forecast for the next 5 days, according to the  Ministry of Emergencies, is not so comforting. In particular, in the  regions of Armenia, the air temperature will gradually decrease by  10-13 degrees from 18 to 20 February.

According to the source, on February 15, no precipitation is expected  in the regions of the Republic, February 16, February 20 in the  afternoon in certain regions, from 17 to 19, and on 20 at night in  most regions, precipitation is expected, from 18 to February 20 in  mountainous and foothill areas - in the form of snow.

Southwest wind with gusts up to 5-10 m / s, from February 16-17 in  some places it is expected to increase wind with gusts up to 20-25 m  / s, on the 17th - up to 25-30 m / s. In Yerevan in the afternoon on  February 15 and 20, at night on February 16, no precipitation is  expected. On the afternoon of February 16th rain is expected, on  February 17th - rain with a thunderstorm, February 18-19, and sleet  on the night of February 20th.
