ArmInfo. The Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament adopted a resolution on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan announced this on her Facebook page.
At the same time, she informed that the resolution welcomes a ceasefire in the conflict zone, at the same time regrets about Azerbaijan's failure to comply with one of the points of the ceasefire, in particular, the return of prisoners. Czech MPs call on Baku to return all the remaining Armenian prisoners. At the same time, the Committee calls for a political settlement of the conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship.
It should be noted that there is still no exact data on how many Armenian prisoners of war and POWs are in Azerbaijan today. Exactly 62 volunteers from the Shirak region of the Republic of Armenia are known to have been in Azerbaijani captivity. However, according to experts, the number of Armenian prisoners is differently higher and amounts to hundreds.
