ArmInfo. The Armenian independent agency ArmInfo considers it sheer provocation the reference of the Azerbaijani news agency Turan to certain information of the agency, which allegedly reports on the Telegram channel associated with PMC Wagner.
This source, according to Turan, allegedly hinted that "Russian mercenaries" are now in Nagorno- Karabakh. Following that, the Yerevan source (Arminfo) allegedly published an information about the investigation of the Bellicgcat website: "The geolocation of some of the photos published by the channel indicates that they were actually taken not in the South Caucasus, but in Syria. These hints seemed to be a hoax; there is no evidence that Wagner is in Nagorno-Karabakh. "
ArmInfo news agency officially declares that it is not the author of such vaguely worded information. "The style of the article in which our colleagues from Turan accuse the Russian side of actively engaging forces from the Wagner PMC in the 44-day war really resembles the rotten "information crap "of the special services of Azerbaijan," ArmInfo News Agency Director General Emmanuil Mkrtchyan said.
At the same time, Mkrtchyan noted that during the war, the Azerbaijani special services might have opened some fake accounts, including under the name of reputable Armenian media, in order to then use their own disinformation ideas to create information fables and legends, thus opposing international public opinion, which severely condemns Azerbaijan's political leadership for involving Syrian terrorist mercenaries in hostilities on the Karabakh front, the presence of which has been confirmed by numerous international sources, including the Russian special services. That is why the special services of Azerbaijan opted for the need to involve the Wagner fighters in their information war against Russia and Armenia.
To note, today the Baku news agency Turan released an article headed "Russian mercenaries fought against Azerbaijan and may stay in Karabakh", in which, groundlessly, using the "source behind source" method, they accused the Russian Federation of using "professional mercenaries from Wagner PMCs" in the war against Artsakh , while unequivocally asserting, referring to a certain Georgian expert Gvaramia, that the Wagner mercenaries are directly connected with the Russian Military Intelligence and are involved in the actions of the peacekeeping continent of the Russian Federation in the NKR.
