ArmInfo. Currently an attempt is being made to erase the Republic of Armenia from the geographical map of the world. On December 28, NA member from the Prosperous  Armenia opposition faction Mikayel Melkumyan stated this from the  rostrum of the RA National Assembly.

According to him, 2020 ends with the process of deprivation of their  homeland for thousands of people; 30 thousand residents of Artsakh  live in garages and basements. The state, the MP continued, does not  have the strength to solve their problems. 47 days have passed since  the end of the hostilities, after which the authorities cannot fully  assess what was lost. Meanwhile, according to Mikayel Melkumyan, in  addition to the fact that there are thousands of dead, missing people  and wounded, currently an attempt is being made to erase 9.5 thousand  square meters km of the territory of Artsakh, and the Republic of  Armenia from the geographical map of the world. "Only Yerevan and the  Ararat valley will remain, and it is necessary to prevent this," the  MP said.  

He also noted that the consequences of the current situation will  manifest themselves in the very near future, when it will not be  possible to pay pensions and wages. An energy crisis awaits the  country and Artsakh. From February 1, 2021, electricity tariffs will  increase by AMD 3. Artsakh produced 600 million kWh of electricity,  now this figure has dropped to 330 million kWh. At the same time, in  Karabakh itself, 390 million kW / h of electricity was consumed.  "Someone thought about it, or you intend to solve all these problems  with your lies and empty talk," Mikayel Melkumyan stated.
