ArmInfo. The Committee for the Salvation of the Motherland invites the citizens of Armenia on December 19 at 3:00 pm to take part in the rally-march. This was reported by the press service of the committee.
The march will start in Freedom Square in Yerevan and will head to the Surb Grigor Lusavorich church, where a service will be held in memory of the heroes who died during the Artsakh war.
To note, the mourning was declared in Armenia from December 19 to 21. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan marched to the Yerablur Pantheon. During the march, a small incident occurred between Pashinyan's supporters and his opponents. One of the citizens stated that he was the father of the hero of the Artsakh war and did not want Pashinyan to visit the grave of his son, after which other citizens joined him with similar statements. MP from the ruling "My Step" faction Andranik Kocharyan called what was happening a provocation and announced that he would go to "Yerablur".
In turn, veterans of the Artsakh war are also waiting for Pashinyan in "Yerablur" and intend to prevent him from entering the territory of the Pantheon.
