ArmInfo. By the decree of the President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, Gagik Galachyan was recalled from the post of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the RA President reported.
"Taking into account the request of the RA Prime Minister, on the basis of the second point, the first part of Article 132 of the RA Constitution, to withdraw Gagik Kalachyan from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, "the decree says.
Note that nothing has been reported about the reasons for the withdrawal. On November 12, 2018, the RA President signed a decree appointing Gagik Galachyan as the country's ambassador to Kazakhstan, replacing Ara Sahakyan in this post. Earlier, Gagik Galachyan headed the Europe Department of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
