ArmInfo. Four members of the UK's Emergency Medical Team (UKEMT) have been deployed to Armenia today in response to a WHO request to help manage severe COVID19 cases there. The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office of UK reports this on its Twitter page.
It is also noted: "They're part of a small UKMed_NGO-led team who will spend 5 weeks there providing training and advice".
To note, over the past day, 485 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Armenia. In total, 126,709 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the republic, 95,099 people recovered, 1,976 died. There were also 503 deaths when patients were confirmed to have a coronavirus infection, but death was due to other diseases. Currently, 29,131 patients are receiving actual treatment.
