It is noteworthy that MPs from the ruling party began to leave the ranks of "My Step" after the resonant statement of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan at night, who stated that he had watched a number of videos on the front line and was amazed at the insight of the guys there. "Dear guys, you are right. I am waiting for you in Yerevan. We will resolve the issue of those who whine under the walls," Pashinyan stressed. After this statement, a deputy from the ruling parliamentary faction "My Step" Gayane Abrahamyan, who apologized to the citizens for mistakes made.
Another MP, Taguhi Tovmasyan, announced that today she will submit an application to withdraw from the faction of the "My Step" bloc. "Our political team makes mistake after mistake. Instead of realizing them, rectifying the situation through dialogue, trying to stabilize tensions in the country, we, on the contrary, are taking steps that undermine the foundations of the state. I will say the rest from the rostrum of parliament," Tagui wrote Tovmasyan.
MP Lusine Badalyan stressed that if the "My Step" faction does not urgently take active steps, it also intends to resign. It should be noted that earlier MP Vardan Atabekyan announced his resignation from the "My Step" faction.
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan's chief of staff Varag Siseryan also resigned. -
