ArmInfo.The working visit of Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan to the United States began with a meeting with the Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Riker. The press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan announced this on her Facebook page.
Today in Washington Mnatsakanyan will meet with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The meeting will take place at 18:30 Yerevan time. Prior to that, Pompeo will hold a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, tentatively, the meeting is scheduled for 17:30 Yerevan time. The main topic of the talks is the achievement of a ceasefire in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
