ArmInfo. The Karabakh issue, at least at this stage, has no diplomatic solution, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in his video message on Facebook today.
According to him, all hopes and proposals for finding a diplomatic solution, especially in this situation, can be considered exhausted.
Armenia, as the head of the government noted, has repeatedly declared its readiness to solve the problem on a compromise basis.
Nikol Pashinyan also touched upon relations with Russia. He noticed that both at the moment, and throughout the entire period of hostilities, the Armenian side felt Moscow's assistance as a strategic ally of Armenia and the Armenian people. Constant communication is maintained with the Russian Federation. "I highly appreciate the cooperation and interaction between Armenia and Russia," Nikol Pashinyan stressed, adding that Armenia at the highest level has interacted and interacts with the Russian Federation on the issue about finding a way out of this situation. He recalled that the Russian Federation is one of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, simultaneously acting as a strategic partner of Yerevan. Until recently, Moscow made every effort, and there is confidence that in the future it will strive to resolve the issue to the maximum. "I have no doubt about it," added the head of the Armenian government.
All these factors, as Nikol Pashinyan noted, are a clear example of further actions - this is a struggle to the end in the name of rights of Armenian people. "No matter what happens, we must fight for the rights of our people. To fight for rights means, first of all, to take up arms and devote oneself to defending the rights of the Motherland. With the effective organization of this process, we will eventually come to an acceptable diplomatic solution, since Azerbaijan does not perceive anything other than the surrender of Karabakh, "the Prime Minister emphasized, adding that everyone understands what this means. There is no Armenia without Artsakh, therefore, as Nikol Pashinyan noted, defending the rights of the people of Artsakh means defending the rights of the Armenian people. And this, in turn, means to fight in the name of this right, to fight as long as it becomes possible to achieve an acceptable solution through diplomacy. Moreover, as the prime minister noted, the matter concerns the final solution to the issue.
This issue can also be resolved through political leadership. The Prime Minister addresses this appeal to all mayors of cities, without exception, village elders, heads of state authorities and local self-government bodies of assuming leadership, who will form volunteer detachments that will protect the rights of the Armenian people. These volunteer units will have to operate under the command of the Chief of the General Staff. The Armenian Genocide took place in conditions in which a certain part of society hoped that someone would stand up to defend their rights. Such people are met today too.
The Prime Minister noted that Azerbaijan does not even want to remove the corpses of its soldiers for two reasons - the fact of huge losses in manpower and equipment worth about $ 1.5 billion. At the same time, the Armenian side has learned to shoot down the Turkish Bayraktar UAVs. The second reason is the identification of the corpses of mercenaries and Turkish military.
Nikol Pashinyan especially noted that this conflict should be the last one. "The future of the Armenian people depends on one person, and that person is you, and you must act, because the time has come to act," the head of government said.
