Georgia considers reports of military transportations in the  direction of Azerbaijan and Armenia to be "information manipulation"

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia categorically denies the widespread information that military transportation in the direction of  Azerbaijan and Armenia through the territory of Georgia is carried  out through civil flights. The Office regards this as "information  manipulation".

According to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia,  specific carriers and cargo owners are responsible for full  compliance with international law and non-use of humanitarian  corridors.  At the same time, Darsalia says that there is no military  transit through the territory of Georgia.

"It is known that immediately from the beginning of the escalation in  Karabakh, Georgia suspended the transit of military cargo by land and  air both in the direction of Azerbaijan and Armenia. Therefore, we  want to reiterate that military transit through the territory of  Georgia is not carried out. Documents, flights operating in the  airspace of Georgia are only of a humanitarian and civil nature, and  fully comply with the standards of the International Civil Aviation  Organization (ICAO). Georgia continues to fulfill its obligations to  allow humanitarian, civilian, including commercial cargo .

Specific carriers and cargo owners are responsible for full  compliance with international law and non-use of humanitarian  corridors. If violations are discovered and if there are solid  grounds, Georgia will react appropriately and violators will have to  answer in accordance with international law, including to ICAO,  "Lasha Darsalia said, Georgia-online reports.

Note that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo noted in a statement on  October 14 that Azerbaijan in the conflict zone in Nagorno-Karabakh  receives reinforcements from Turkey.
