


ArmInfo.Turkey's export of military goods to Azerbaijan has increased 6-fold since the beginning of the year - from $ 20 million to $ 123 million compared to last year. This was reported on Wednesday by Reuters, citing data from the Turkish Exporters Association, TASS reports.
According to the agency, sales of drones and other military equipment rose to $ 77 million in just the last month before the outbreak of hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Most of the deliveries fell on the period after July, when joint military exercises were held by the Armed Forces of Turkey and Azerbaijan. Sales of drones, rocket launchers, ammunition and other equipment rose sharply from $ 278,880 in July to $ 36 million in August and $ 77.1 million in September. In September, Azerbaijan rose to the first line in the list of importers of Turkish weapons, overtaking Oman and the United States. The Turkish Exporters Association unites 95 thousand companies.
