ArmInfo.Opinions that the Azerbaijani dictator Ilham Aliyev would like to establish a truce, but the regime of Recep Erdogan does not allow him to do so, have nothing to do with reality. This is the opinion of Vardan Voskanyan, Head of the Department of Iranian Studies at Yerevan State University.
"In my opinion, it is wrong to underestimate the Baku dictator. Yes, the influence of Erdogan's regime is great, but he continues to remain an independent player with limited opportunities for maneuvering," Voskanyan concluded.
At the same time, the expert agreed that indeed, Turkish President Erdogan is a serious provocateur, however, decisions are made by the dictator from Baku and he is the one who will appear before the court of history.
