The actions of the Azerbaijani side, in fact,  are dictated by the goal of proving the earlier statement of  President Aliyev (about the capture of Hadrut - ed. note)" the  statement of the NKR Defense Army reads.

It should be noted that the day before, in Moscow on the 12th day of  hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict, a meeting  of the foreign ministers of the Russian Federation, the Republic of  Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia took place. The meeting took  place at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin and  lasted more than 10 hours, ending at about 3 hours Moscow time.

The fighting continued in other sectors  of the front.
