ArmInfo. A meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation, Armenia and Azerbaijan - Sergey Lavrov, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Jeyhun Bayramov - on the situation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict started in Moscow.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin invited the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan to hold a series of consultations in Moscow on October 9. The Russian leader proposed, through the mediation of the Russian Foreign Minister, to discuss the exchange of prisoners and bodies of people killed during the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry previously emphasized that the agenda of the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Moscow will exclusively include issues of cessation of hostilities, in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, for humanitarian reasons in order to exchange the bodies and prisoners, as it sounded in the appeal of the President of the Russian Federation.
