ArmInfo. MEP Charlie Weimers calls on Europe to impose sanctions against Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Weimers said this during a meeting of the European Parliament.
The MEP also called for the exclusion of Ankara from the OSCE Minsk Group in connection with the aggression unleashed by Turkey and Azerbaijan against Artsakh.
Weimer, in particular, stressed that dictator Aliyev, with the support of terrorists Erdogan, unleashed aggression in order to impose on Armenia and Karabakh the unjust decision of Stalin, who handed over the NKR to Azerbaijan.
"It is necessary to impose sanctions against Aliyev, as well as exclude Turkey from the OSCE Minsk Group. It should be realized that for Azerbaijan it is a matter of ambition, and for Armenians from Karabakh what is happening is a matter of life and death, "the MEP deputy concluded.
