The interests of Azerbaijan, or rather the Aliyev clan, according to  the historian, are due to the obvious large economic redistribution  in this country. According to Demoyan's forecasts, other clans will  try to redistribute the huge economic fortunes accumulated by the  Aliyev clan. And external players will help them in this, of course,  having received their share for this. Thus, Ilham Aliyev is deciding  the issue of preserving his power in this war.

"Aliyev's instinct for self-preservation plays a key role here..  Thousands of corpses are just a good way for him to stay in power. At  the same time, the initiation of an expensive in every sense of the  war amid falling oil prices and the economic crisis in the country  looks strange. I am convinced that our leadership will accept this historic  decision and strike a blow that will put into question the very  continued existence of Azerbaijan.
