Lavrov confirmed readiness to hold in Moscow a meeting of the Foreign  Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia with the participation of the  OSCE Minsk Group

ArmInfo. A telephone conversation between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun  Bayramov took place, during which the discussion of the situation in  the zone of the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict continued.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Lavrov expressed serious  concern over the ongoing hostilities on the line of contact and the  growing number of civilian casualties.  The Russian side stressed the  need for an early ceasefire.

It was noted that Russia, together with other co-chairs of the OSCE  Minsk Group, will continue to promote the resumption of the  negotiation process based on the basic principles of the Nagorno-  Karabakh settlement.
