ArmInfo. On the initiative of the Armenian side, a telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
According to the Kremlin, the discussion of the situation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was continued. Both sides expressed serious concern over the information received about the involvement of militants of illegal armed groups from the Middle East in hostilities.
Vladimir Putin again emphasized the need to immediately end the hostilities and resume political and diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict - in line with the Statement of the Presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs (Russia, France, USA) on October 1, 2020. It was agreed to continue contacts in various formats.
