ArmInfo.The presence of the Turkish factor in the current hostilities in Artsakh makes it possible to speak of Israeli interests. A similar opinion was  expressed to ArmInfo by Israeli public figure, political scientist  Avigdor Eskin.

"Turkey has once again made a completely extravagant statement on the  situation. A statement which reflects the hysteria with which Recep  Erdogan attacked Israel at the UN several days ago. No one needs the  strengthening of Turkish positions in the region. Meanwhile, the  events in Artsakh are an opportunity for such a strengthening.  Considering the oil pipeline, given the statements about the  possibility of Turkey's withdrawal from Syria in exchange for  something. There are a lot of different factors around the Turkish  theme, " he stressed.

In general, the Turks, according to the political scientist, have  spoiled relations with everyone, including the United States. Erdogan  is losing in Libya, Syria, Iraq, he is losing in Turkey to the Kurds.  It is losing in its own economy, while the lira continues to  depreciate. Against this background, Eskin considers it necessary to  draw attention to Turkey's dangerous striving for revanchism. At the  same time, Israel, in his opinion, should not and will not interfere  in other people's conflicts. This is the golden rule of Israel's  public policy.  Nevertheless, he is convinced that the strengthening  of Turkey in the South Caucasus will not be beneficial for Israel as  well. First of all, given the fact that Turkey has turned into a  strategic enemy for Israel. Israeli sources, he said, confirm the  fact of sending to Azerbaijan a certain number of terrorist  mercenaries who fought in Syria for many years. However, there is no  exact information about their number and involvement in the  hostilities against Artsakh.

"This is very important information, indicating very dangerous  tendencies in Turkish policy towards the South Caucasus. It cannot be  ruled out that, having lost in Libya and failing to do anything with  regard to Greece, especially after the latter was supported by France  and Israel, Turkey may try to spill over to the East. This should not  be allowed and Turkey must be curbed here too. The only hope is  Moscow, that it will understand that the conflict can be resolved  with the greater participation of Russia. Otherwise, the current  instability, the current heat will go too far. An early ceasefire is  possible only with the participation of Russia. Let's hope that will  happen, " Eskin summed up.
