ArmInfo. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramova complained to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres about Armenia.
Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry that the letter of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, addressed to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on August 31 of this year about the "aggressive rhetoric of Armenia", was published and distributed as a document of the General Assembly and the UN Security Council.
In his letter, Bayramov drew attention to "provocative statements by Armenia, which did not achieve political and military goals as a result of military provocation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on July 12-16 this year."
The letter, among other far-fetched accusations against Armenia, brings to the attention of the UN Secretary General the alleged abuse of Armenia in the negotiation process conducted under the leadership of the OSCE Minsk Group.
Bayramov called on the UN Secretary General to take all necessary steps to suppress "aggressive provocative rhetoric of Armenia, as well as force it to comply with the obligations of international law," while keeping silent about the failure of Baku itself to comply with elementary norms and principles of international humanitarian law.
