ArmInfo. Second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, filed a lawsuit against the RA. Hayk Alumyan, the lawyer of the second president of Armenia, said this in an interview with ArmInfo correspondent.
As the court portal datalex.am reports, the second President of Armenia made a demand to recover 2 million AMD as non-material damage. The lawyer stressed that the defense of the second president requires compensation for moral damage.
"During the court session on March 10, judge in the Robert Kocharyan's case, Anna Danibekyan, read the entire text of the document containing medical secrets. This document contained personal data that was not subject to disclosure and protected by law," Alumyan said. The latter also noted that the claim has not yet been accepted for proceedings.
To note, on March 10, second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, was at the Erebuni medical center and did not participate in the court session. During the trial, judge Anna Danibekyan read out a certificate from the medical center. Considering all the above, the second President of Armenia could not be present at this court session.
To recall, second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan is accused of overthrowing the constitutional order in the country within the framework of the March 1, 2008 events. Kocharyan's defense and the ex- president himself claim that the case is fabricated. In turn, prosecutors in the case believe that Robert Kocharyan's defense is deliberately delaying the trial.
