ArmInfo. Head of the Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan wrote a letter to Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan about the problems of cars with Armenian license plates in Russia.
"We are receiving information and video from the Russian Federation that the traffic police are creating serious problems for the owners of cars with Armenian license plates. In particular, they issue fines to the owners, whose cars are parked in the entrance yard, as well as they are taken from the streets to the parking lot if the person does not have a temporary permit. According to some reports, these are customs documents related to temporary importation," the letter says. Marukyan claims that no one was informed in advance about the requirement of such a document, and such actions radically contradict the agreements reached within the EAEU, the very idea of the EAEU. He also notes that the actions taken in relation to cars with Armenian license plates are grossly contrary to Russian domestic legislation.
