ArmInfo. In the context of the  prospects for the development of relations between Armenia and  Israel, favorable times are coming. In particular, the geopolitical  situation is changing, and the role of Turkey and its leader Erdogan  in our region is becoming more and more malicious. Such an  opinion  was expressed to ArmInfo by  an Israeli public figure, publicist  Avigdor Eskin.  "Against this background, Israel and other countries  are gradually becoming aware of the need, in our region and even  wider, for a strong Armenia. The point of view is being increasingly  considered according to which Armenia is one of the most important  nodes in ensuring peace and security. It's clear that amid a serious  weakening of regional positions, respectively, the influence of Iran  on Armenia, the rapprochement of Yerevan and Jerusalem, if you like,  Ararat and Zion is an organic and natural process, "he stressed.   Eskin is convinced that Israel has never intervened, and will not  intervene in the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the  future. Israel does not intend, according to its forecasts, to  interfere in the internal affairs of Armenia. According to the  Israeli leader, the new government of Armenia has already  demonstrated a predisposition and certain intentions towards Israel.  According to his estimates, the political crisis in Israel, spoiled  later by the coronavirus and the state of emergency, including the  internal political one in Armenia, prevented the active  implementation of these intentions.

Nevertheless, geopolitical logic, he estimates, continues to push  Armenia and Israel, the Jewish and Armenian communities around the  world toward rapprochement and good relations. In this light, Eskin  already noted rather close and close relations between the two  peoples in France and the United States. The Israeli expert is  convinced of the vast joint prospects of the two peoples.

We held concerts of Jewish  and Armenian music in Moscow, but as a result of the coronavirus we  were forced to suspend this series. After stabilization of the  situation, we will continue our cycle concerts. I also plan to hold a  symposium in Brussels on the development of relations between our  countries. Armenian-Israeli relations should be built not only on  mutual interest, but also in the cultural and historical sphere, "  Eskin summed up.
