ArmInfo.The next remote meeting on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is planned before the end of this month. This was announced during a weekly briefing by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, in response to a question about the possible timing of resuming the dialogue on Nagorno-Karabakh settlement through the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co- Chairs.
"The Co-Chairs are in constant contact with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, last month they held a joint video conference at which they discussed issues of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The next remote meeting is planned before the end of this month.
There is an understanding that as the borders open and the restrictions on international communications introduced in connection with the coronavirus are removed, the meetings will become in-person, "the Russian diplomat concluded.
It should be noted that the previous meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan with the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Vhairs in a video conference format took place in May this year.
