Pashinyan: 63 people infected with coronavirus due to funeral  procession

ArmInfo. From June 6, by the decision of the Commandant's Office, exits and entrances from the Dzoragyugh community of the Gegharkunik region of Armenia will be  closed.  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this on his  Facebook page.

The prime minister informed that one of the residents of Dzoragyugh  has took part in a funeral in  Goght village, and after three or four  days he  participated in the funeral procession in his native  village. As the result there are 63 cases of coronavirus in  Dzoragyuh. "We had a similar case in Ddmashen, when people took part  in funeral  in Hrazdan, then infected the members of a family in  mourning with coronavirus, which resulted in the death of one of the  family members(grandfather), and there were more than 100 cases in  the village," Pashinyan said, recalling that because of this, the  movement in Ddmashen was limited, and in connection with these  funerals, the virus spread to 6 communities. <Dear compatriots,  respect human lives, do not violate anti-epidemic rules>, the prime  minister summed up.

In total, 12364 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the republic,  3720 people recovered, 190 died.  Currently, 8385 patients are  receiving treatment.
