Armenia and Lebanon consider deepening defense cooperation

ArmInfo. The implementation of  the agreements reached at the Munich meeting of the Armenian PM  with  the Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister was discussed at the meeting on  June 3 between RA Ambassador to Lebanon Vahagn Atabekyan and Defense  Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Lebanon, Zina Aker

As the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo, the  interlocutors also exchanged views on a number of issues of the  Armenian-Lebanese friendly agenda.

In the context of bilateral cooperation, the special importance of  expanding military and military-technical cooperation and of taking  practical steps in this direction was indicated.

The meeting also discussed topical regional issues of mutual  interest. In this context, the importance of the full use of the  potential of the existing regional formats and the possibility of  strengthening the Armenian-Lebanese cooperation in these formats were  indicated.
