ArmInfo. Public transport in Armenia resumed work in a special mode. This was reported by the press service of the Yerevan Municipality.
According to the decision of the Commandant of the State of Emergency, special rules will apply in public transport to reduce the risk of the spread of coronavirus infection. In particular, the Commandant requires the wearing of masks in public transport. Transportation of standing passengers will be prohibited not only in ground transport, but also in the subway, with the exception of trolleybuses.
In case of violation of the rules, police can stop public transport, drop off all passengers, and move the vehicle to the penalty area. As a result, the driver and / or passenger transportation company will be fined. In addition, the driver's instructions indicate that if passengers do not comply with the established rules, the latter has the right to stop the movement of the car until the violation is eliminated. <We are sure that the level of social responsibility among Yerevan residents will be at a high level, citizens will abide by the established rules without creating additional difficulties in the city movement. We ask you to be sympathetic to the temporary inconveniences that were introduced in order to ensure public health and safety>, the capital municipality said in a statement. To recall, from May 4 in Armenia, the Emergency Situations Commandant relaxed the restrictions operating in the state of emergency, allowing the activity of almost all types of business activities.
